BMW HID Kit have been the new craze in the past few years. Xenon Kit have been installed since the mid to late 90s on BMWs. Ever since; it seems as if BMW has made HID as an option on all their vehicles, and sometimes a base option. BMW installs offers HID kit options on their following vehicles: BMW E36 1992-1999, BMW E46 2000- 2006, BMW E90 2005 to present, BMW E32 1987-1994, BMW E38 1994- 2001, BMW E34 1987- 1996, BMW E60 and E61 2004- present, BMW E65 and E66 2002- 2007, BMW E63 and E64 2004 – present, BMW Z1, BMW Z3, BMW Z4, BMW X3, BMW X5, BMW X6. BMW offers HID upgrades for many of their new cars. But they don’t offer xenon for older cars, and that is why the aftermarket industry is providing aftermarket BMW xenon Kit. They are designed to be a complete plug and play kit for the BMW. They also offer different color temperatures for the xenon bulbs, to offer you a wider range of colors. Some of these are the following: 10000K (Aqua Blue), 12000K (Purple-Blue), 6000K (Crystal White),8000K (Crystal Blue), 3000K (Golden Yellow) , 4300K (Bright White), 5000K (white). The most used HID bulb temperature is the 6000K, and the 5000K. If you do decide to go with something a bit higher such as a 10000K or a 12000K or higher, please check with your local authority first, because it might be illegal. Most OEM HID Kit that come on BMWs are usually a 6000K HID kit. BMW modeles include the E30, E36, E46, E90, E92, E60, E62, E39, E53 and other specialty names given to platforms.
