D2S/D2R OEM Ballast - Made by Philips
This listing is for a BRAND NEW OEM High Quality Philips HID Replacement ballast for D2S or D2R bulb. Philips HID ballast is an OEM part for High-end luxury vehicles such as AUDI, BMW, Mercedes, and etc... The ballast is made in Germany, so the quality is top of the line.
This ballast either has Hella or PHILIPS label on it. Although some people may think that they are different ballast, they are 100% same unit. PHILIPS puts their label on Hella ballast but they are 100% same ballasts.
This listing includes a ballast unit and 12V power cable.
The part# for this ballast is 'LVQ212' (BMW/Mercedes may use different part#).
As you can see in our picture, the ballast has very slim design.
The dimension of the ballast is approximately 10 x 5 x 3.3 cm.
If the ballast on your vehicle has gone bad and if it is the same ballast as this one, you can save money here because the dealership sells the same ballast for multiple times more.
Note: if your input power plug to your OEM ballast does not look like above, this ballast will require you to cut off your factory connector and wire this ballast in with the provided intput wire.
