This is an interior lighting LED package for 2005 to present Jeep Grand Cherokee
This kit is designed to replace the stock filament style bulbs located in the interior lights with bright colorful LED lights. There are many benefits of LEDs over traditional bulbs. They are designed to run cooler, longer, and brighter. The color that these lights emit is incredible. The white light is very similar to what you would find in a high end Mercedes or Lexus. The red and blue kits have a very rich color to them. It is an amazing difference over the factory "yellow" bulbs. We find that most people don't ever realize that their interior lights are "yellow" until they put these in, then they realize what they were missing! These lights will perform as well or better than stock. All kits have a total of 55 High output LEDs; 18 in the front map lights, 9 LEDs under each side of the dash, 9 LEDs in the rear cargo area, and 10 in the rear dome. These bulbs install right into the factory locations and require no modifications. These were specifically chosen for this vehicle because of the size of the housings. After experimenting with the different lights, this combination worked the best all around. These bulbs will give off the highest amount of light without modifying the housings to allow for a larger bulb. The lights can be swapped in a matter of minutes with nothing more than a small screwdriver, and can be put back to factory just as easily.
The kit includes:
(2) 9 LED BULBS FOR THE MAP LIGHTS
(2) 9 LED BULB FOR UNDER DASH LIGHTS
(2) 5 LED BULBS FOR THE REAR DOME/MAP LIGHTS
(1) 9 LED BULB FOR THE REAR CARGO AREA
The response of LEDs are much faster than traditional bulbs. For signal lighting, LEDs provide increased safety because they turn on more quickly than incandescent filament lighting sources, which translates into a 19 ft decrease in stopping distances at 62 mph. This bulb is great for any application where the light needs to be directed in all directions. The bulbs we sell are the best bang for the buck. There are cheaper and more expensive kits out there. With LEDs you get what you pay for. These will last longer, light up brighter, and be more reliable than most of the other kits out there. It's a rather new technology and there is a huge difference in the products available today.
